My run was FANTASTIC today, which is good because I lost an entire week due to illness. I did a short run earlier this week and had to miss yesterday because I was too tired after work. But I went out today just wanting to do a 30 minute run to prep for a full 5K tomorrow, and, well..
I DID SO GOOD! My pace hovered around 8 minutes per km, which is reeeeeeally good considering how slow I've been lately. considering how inconsistently I've been running the past couple of weeks, I'm really proud of myself! I did a "training mission" for the spring Zombies Run race, so I didn't do a full 5K, just until the mission was over. I think it was about 34 minutes.
I found my awesome hat! And look a TANK TOP.
Anywhosit, I'm hoping to run the actual race tomorrow if I get time. My nephew's confirmation is tomorrow and i'm going to that, and cooking my awesome baked beans, and we're having a party, but I can squeeze in 35 minutes (maybe? 37 minutes? I'll go with 37. :D) to do a 5K real quick hehe.
I have some big running news coming up. Races, goals, plans, etc. I gotta wait on confirmation for a couple things, so I'll wait until then and make a blog post about it. :D Stay tuned, dudes.
