Running Goals

Short Term Running Goals


  1. Get under a 30 minute 5K by summer
  2. Run a 10K by my birthday (August 14th)
  3. Run at least 5 races in 2017


Long Term Running Goals

  1. Run a Half Marathon by February 2018 (aka run the Disney Princess Half)
  2. Run at least 2 10K races in 2018
  3. Run a full marathon by summer 2019

New Year, New Races

It's been quite a long time since I've posted! I meant to continue this running blog but I got caught up in a lot of other things. I decided that since it's a new year, I'll continue working on this blog.

For instance, I did my first run since early December on Sunday and it was brutal.

Thankfully I had running buddy Kayla and a cat to help me through

Kayla has a bit of a faster pace than me (and currently more endurance) so I lagged behind a lot. She's also training for a half-marathon and I'm just trying to get back at my 5K race pace. Christmas was hard, and I've been dealing with a flare up, so I'm not surprised that I lost a lot of my endurance.

My run on Tuesday was slightly better, if terrifying.

 In the end, it feels good to be running again. My mom bought me some sweet running gear for Christmas and I"m happy to be breaking it in.
